Exploration of Payette’s firm culture and practice model though the firms projects with an emphasis on building science and sustainability
Kevin Sullivan, FAIA, President and CEO of Payette, the 2019 Architecture Firm Award recipient, will give a lecture about Payette’s firm culture and practice model through the lens of their recently completed projects and also describing their unique approach to Building Science and Sustainability. Kevin will also describe Payette’s response to COVID-19 and how it has affected their practice moving forward.
Learning Objectives
(1) To learn about the about the practice model for PAYETTE, the 2019 AIA Architecture Firm Award Winner.
(2) To learn about several different techniques and metrics to optimize high performance architecture and sustainable design into buildings for science and healthcare, focusing on 6 of our AIA COTE top 10 Award winning projects and a few others.
(3) To learn how to incorporate building science research into your practice model.
(4) To discuss models for practice-based research that enable firms to develop deeper knowledge around building performance
(5) To discuss how Payette has been running their practice through COVID and moving forward.
