The theme this year is focused on resilience and sustainability in healthcare – broadly defined to include ecological/environmental, social, and operational resilience. It will explore the role that healthcare organizations and settings might play in resiliently supporting the health of their communities. The conference includes speakers who will address topics of resilience in response to natural and other disasters, lowering the carbon footprint of healthcare, inequity in access to healthcare, and the ever increasing pressures on the healthcare workforce. These are the issues we hope to explore at the 2023 conference which will include sessions framed as follows:

• A keynote by Farzan Bharucha:  How the Evolving Care Continuum is Impacting the Ability of Health Systems to Support their Communities
• Critical Issues Facing Healthcare Organizations – both large and small – in the Southeast:  Thornton Kirby
• Determinants, Dashboards and Disparities:  The Future of Healthcare – Dr. Sabrina Cherry
• Holistic Resilience in Healing – People, Place and Purpose:  Matthew Barnett, AIA
• Speakers panel discussion on Resilience and Sustainability in Healthcare.
