We’d like to invite you to take part in an initiative we’re launching in Greenville to help families in crisis in our community. When families face unimaginable circumstances like domestic abuse, medical emergencies or natural disasters, oftentimes they face extremely difficult decisions when it comes to caring for their pets – some shelters will welcome families, but not animals. Greenville County Animal Care provides temporary boarding and care for pets whose owners are in these desperate times.

PAWchitecture is a design/build competition of original, one-of-a-kind pet furniture created by professional and student design teams of Greenville architects, builders and designers, with the goal of raising funds for Greenville County Animal Care. The built designs will be displayed at the Hyatt Regency in Downtown Greenville from October 13-30. All the homes will be available for silent auction through online bidding, with proceeds going to Greenville County Animal Care. A celebration event will take place at the conclusion, where proceeds will be presented to GCAC.
